Challenge
There is a lot going on in a collage, but people still need to find the event details quickly. I made Student Talent Night the biggest thing on the page and kept the date, location and NOVA credit small and clear in the corners.

Process
I wanted the poster to feel as loud and playful as a talent show, so I made a halftone cat sing into a vintage microphone. Pixel-style script letters and a heavy ripped-paper title give the type its own stage presence, and the lightning bolts and music notes add energy around the mic.

Result
A high-energy poster that shows what, when and where at a glance and gives NOVA’s event a fun identity. The black type on the soft lavender paper stays readable even with the busy collage.
